Aux Interactive (www.aux.com), a next-generation interactive agency, is seeking a Senior Web/UI Designer. Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience in a UI/design position creating wireframes, detailed specifications, and visual mockups, and the creative savvy to mesh with some of the top folks in the field.
Qualifications
- BA in Graphic Design, Information Design, Digital Media Design or other visual arts
- 5+ years experience on a User Interface team creating web and/or software applications
- Strong design skills including screen layouts, information design and typography
- Must have understanding of user-centered design principles and great eye for detail.
- Excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with others.
- Must be fluent in the tools of the trade: Photoshop, Illustrator (if you're into vectors), etc. You know what they are.
- Must have solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies. You don't have to be a geek but you need to know how to relate.
